North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd Sep

20/08/2023 • Carl Marsh •

If like us, here at the Mousetrap, you like your food, then you’ll love the North Norfolk Food & Drink Festival.

North Norfolk Food and Drink FestivalNow in it’s 14th year it has become firmly established on the Norfolk calendar and with good reason.
There has been a gradual increase in first class Food and Drink manufacturers across Norfolk, but specifically within North Norfolk.
Some of the artisan producers, have gone on to become mainstrean volume suppliers to national supermarkets.
But most still continue to be family run businesses crafting their produce with passion and care.
The fertile soils of East Anglia combined with an agreeable climate continue to attract growers and producers, especially in the wine sector which is booming.

This year, once again, the festival is hosted by Holkham Hall, who are themselves a major agricultural producer of crops including: malting barley, wheat, maize, oilseed rape, sugarbeet, peas, potatoes and rye, in addition to cattle and sheep.

The festival, held in the Walled Gardens at Holkham Hall, runs between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4 and is FREE TO ENTER (£5 Car Park charge).

If you want to experience this wonderful event the Mousetrap has a two night stay. Mousetrap sleeps 6 and at only £400 that works out less than £35 per person per night.

Mousetrap is a spacious family friendly holiday home with 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6, free car parking and free wi-fi.
